I Digress

Dear Third and Fourth Year,

Student Parliaments are generally a cool thing. In the west they are especially useful because they offer advice to incoming students, organize trips, bring in guest speakers on various topics, offer a forum for student problems, etc.

 Apparently there has been some controversy over the recent elections for your Student Parliament. The remedy for such controversies is generally two-fold: a) conversation/dialogue, and b) voting.

If and when your elections roll around, I would encourage you to listen to the candidates involved. Then, having made a rational decision, go and VOTE.

You didn’t ask, but I said it anyway.
